OUR MISSIOn
A teacher helped me; now I’m helping a teacher.
A teacher helped me;
now I’m helping a teacher.
The Maestro Arts Project trains educators and students in all aspects of theater and promotes the fine arts.

A Theater Education Service Organization
MAP produces a high school summer camp and provides training for college auditions.

TYLER MCKINNEY
Rogers ISD
“…that’s part of the magic that Eastwood Hill holds. When you’re there, you’re not only free from the distractions of life, but you’re surrounded by a creative spirit that unlocks ideas within you that you never thought you had, you’re surrounded by friends that will share whatever they can, and most importantly, you’re surrounded by a family that reminds you that what you do is essential and that your ideas aren’t stupid.”

WHO
There are no theater training programs that serve rural young artists and their teachers. Many urban Title 1 and 2 schools lack resources for training. MAP provides training for areas where theater is nonexistent or inaccessible.
WHY
Many rural and urban Title 1 and 2 schools do not have a trained theater instructor on staff and rely on existing staff to direct the school plays. There’s usually no knowledge of how to prepare students for college auditions.
our core values
We envision affordable education & art projects for students and their educators.
Within each teacher & student, MAP empowers the:
VISIONARY who brings dreams to fruition.
HUMANITARIAN who practices empathy.
HERO who succeeds in literature and life.
ENTERTAINER who shares laughter and beauty.
